Deadline: Within 3 months of arrival for stays over 3 months

Processing Time: 15–30 days processing

💰Fees: €3.60 for administrative fee

Required Documents:

Valid passport or EU/EEA national ID card
Proof of temporary residence registration
Proof of employment (work contract) OR proof of self-employment (s.p. registration) OR proof of sufficient funds (~€462/month) and health insurance
Passport-sized photo
Completed application form

Where to Do It:

Same Administrative Unit where you registered temporary residence.

If You Don't Do It:

Fines may apply for late application. May not be able to access Slovenian healthcare (ZZZS) or tax system without registration.
